PRIVACY

Anonymous answers, a history that stays on your phone.

This policy explains in plain terms what information is handled by the “Yes or No — No arguing” app and by the third-party services it needs to run.

Updated: September 29, 2026

1. Who is responsible for the app

The app is published by Mickaël Barthémy, an independent developer. For any question about privacy, write to contact@ouiounonsansdebattre.fr.

2. What the app records

Answers and Solo history

Your Yes/No answers, the matching questions and the date you answered are stored locally on your device so your history can be displayed.

Anonymous answers

To show what other players answered, each answer is sent anonymously to a server hosted by Supabase: only the card’s identifier and your Yes or No choice are sent. They are added to that card’s two counters, with no account, no device identifier and no date, so no answer can ever be linked to a person. As with any internet connection, the host receives your device’s IP address for the duration of the request; it is not stored with the answer.

Preferences

Your sound and vibration settings, your age confirmation and whether the rating prompt has already been shown are also kept locally on your phone.

The app does not ask you to create an account, and it does not collect your name, your postal address, your contacts, your photos or your precise location.

3. Ads and consent

The free version uses Google AdMob. Depending on your country, your choices and the permissions you have granted, Google and its partners may handle certain data in order to display, measure, cap and secure the ads:

  • device identifiers and the advertising identifier;
  • IP address and approximate location;
  • interactions with the app and with the ads;
  • diagnostic, performance and crash data.

Where the regulations require it, a consent screen is shown before any ad is requested. On iOS, access to the advertising identifier may also depend on your tracking permission. Refusing does not stop you from playing; the ads may simply be less personalized.

You can reopen the ad choices from the app settings wherever they are available. You can also change the tracking permission in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android, the advertising ID can be reset or deleted in the phone’s Settings, under privacy and ads; the exact path depends on the model.

4. The SPICY Premium purchase

The in-app purchase is handled by Apple on iPhone and iPad, and by Google Play on Android. The developer receives neither your card number nor your payment details. The app only checks with the store whether the purchase that unlocks the SPICY pack and removes the ads is active.

5. Retention and deletion

Your Solo history is kept locally, up to the 1,000 most recent answers. You can delete it at any time from the History screen. Deleting the app also erases this local data. The anonymous counters for each card are kept for as long as the app is available.

Retention periods for advertising data are set by Google and its partners under their own policies.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask for information about, access to, correction of or deletion of data concerning you. Because the answers sent are anonymous and no account is created, the developer cannot link any answer to a person or look up your Solo history remotely.

For anything to do with the app, contact contact@ouiounonsansdebattre.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Changes to this policy

This page may be updated as the features or the services used change. The date shown at the top of the page marks the latest revision.
